#SomethingGood: Richardson Navy Lieutenant Selected for Blue Angels

Navy Lt. Brian Abe of Richardson was recently selected to be part of the Blue Angels officers for the 2020 air show season. As maintenance officer, Lt. Abe will be the department head for the maintenance department (the largest department in a squadron), and is responsible for the overall maintenance of every aircraft in the complement. Lt. Abe will oversee a department of more than 70 sailors and Marines who conduct the required scheduled and emergency maintenance on the flight team’s 13 F/A-18 Hornets.
