Rescue Dog Becomes Plano Animal Services Hero

Six months after rescuing a two-year-old Boxer mix from a report of severe neglect, Plano Animal Services is trying to find “Red” a home. In October, the dog weighed just 28 pounds. Today, he’s been through $3,000 worth of surgeries and care to fix his bones, which suffered during his time of malnutrition. Today, Red is 60 pounds and the city is screening adopters through an application process.
