Hurst police say they found a woman dead and a man injured after shootings at two separate apartment complexes Tuesday night.

Hurst police responded to the Sawgrass apartments in the 1800 block of Sotogrande Boulevard at 9:57 p.m. and found the woman — later identified as 35-year-old Loan Nguyen — dead.
Officers later found a man on the ground with a gunshot wound outside the nearby Crooked Stick apartment complex. Police said he was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in unknown condition in police custody.
The man's identity has not yet been released.
