Parkland's Chief Medical Officer Says They Have More COVID-19 Patients Now Than Ever Before

The Dallas Fort Worth hospital council says more than 4,000 people remain hospitalized for COVID-19 in North Texas. There are currently 63 available staffed adult ICU beds. Many health care workers are feeling the frustration and stress. NBC 5’s Sophia Beausoleil spoke with the chief medical officer for Parkland Health and Hospital System. He says, yes, they’re tired, but remain hopeful the vaccines are the answer.
