So this is hip, right?
An internationally acclaimed street artist — what we once might have called a tagger — named Ben Flynn, or Eine, as in the German word for “one,” in the art world, came to Dallas Tuesday and worked a little street magic at the Dallas Museum Tower construction wall.
After finishing that project on Wednesday, he moves to Oak Cliff, now our epicenter of hip, to ply that artsy trade at an unnamed building along Fort Worth Avenue.
It’s all part of an MTV and Goss-Michael Foundation benefit through MTV RE:Define and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation to raise money through an art auction Sept 24 — yes, Eine’s work included — for AIDs research.
Pardon me while I clear my head.

Anyway, Eine returns to Museum Tower Wednesday from about noon ‘til he’s finished, then to Oak Cliff from noon-‘til whenever, Sept. 15 and 16, if you want to see cool created.
Bruce Felps owns and operates East Dallas Times, an online community news outlet serving the White Rock Lake area. He is so tragically unhip anymore.
