A VIP event Friday showcased the entrepreneurial spirit of students at Trimble Tech High School.

The new Bulldogs Rally House celebrated its grand opening Friday morning. The Bulldogs Rally House is the capstone to Trimble Tech’s Retail Entrepreneurship Gold Seal Program of Choice.

Jayme Rodriguez, a teacher at Trimble Tech, said new merchandise started rolling in this week.

"The students held a 'presale' event a few weeks ago to give them practice before the big opening," Rodriguez said. "Homecoming is next Friday and  Saturday, and next week is going to be crazy."

The store sells clothes and spirit items decked out in the bulldog, the school's mascot. There is also merchandise produced by Trimble Tech students.

Rodriguez said students use business and marketing skills to conduct product research and develop business models.

"This is a unique shopping opportunity for customers and fundraising efforts for Bulldog programs," said Rodriguez.

"The Bulldogs Rally House mission is to assist in the advancement of all Fort Worth ISD entrepreneurial students as they prepare for college and manage their own careers in the business world," a district spokesperson said.

The Bulldogs Rally House will be open to the public Monday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Nov. 10, before school from 7:15 - 7:48 a.m. and during lunch from 12:45- 1:15 p.m.

All visitors must check in at the front office when arriving on campus.

Trimble Tech fans will have more opportunities to shop during the Homecoming Carnival Friday, Nov. 10 on the Trimble Tech track from 5-7 p.m. and at the Homecoming Football Game Saturday, Nov. 11 at Farrington Field starting at 12 p.m.
