No Indication of Trump Wiretapping: Senate Intel Chiefs

The Republican chairman of the Senate intelligence committee and the ranking Democrat have released a joint statement on President Donald Trump’s allegation that President Barack Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower. The one-sentence statement from Republican Sen. Richard Burr and Democratic Sen. Mark Warner says they have seen no indication that Trump Tower was “the subject of surveillance” by the U.S. government before or after the 2016 election.
