NFL Announces Cowboys 2019 Schedule

Dallas will open the season Sept. 8 against the New York Giants

The NFL announced its 2019 schedule Wednesday night. The Cowboys start with games against the Giants, Washington and the Dolphins, but have matchups with playoff teams including the Saints, Patriots, Bears and Rams later in the season. NBC 5 Sports Director Newy Scruggs says a strong start in September is imperative for the Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys will open next season Sept. 8 at AT&T Stadium against the New York Giants.

Other highlights on Dallas' schedule include an NBC Sunday Night Football matchup Sept. 29 at New Orleans and a trip to New England Nov. 24.

The Cowboys will host the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Day.
