New Fort Worth Crime Data Shows 550% Increase in West Side Murders

Fort Worth Police are taking a look back at 2017. NBC 5 obtained new data showing that overall violent crime rose eight percent from 2016 to 2017. Perhaps most striking is a 550 percent increase in murders in the city’s West Division, going from two in 2016 to 13 in 2017.
