NBC 5 Today Puppy Bowl Predicts Super Bowl LIV Winner

Friday morning, shelter animals at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control raced to the finish line to predict which team — the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs — would win the Super Bowl on Sunday.

It's time for the NBC 5 Puppy Bowl 2020 in partnership with Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. On Friday morning, the dogs raced to the finish line, each representing either the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs.

The winner of the race will make the prediction for Super Bowl LIV. The fun was shown live on NBC 5 Today between 4:30 to 7 a.m. You can see the whole race and outcome in the video player above!

Tony Hiller with Fort Worth Animal Care and Control joined NBC 5 Today ahead of the big Puppy Bowl race to predict the winner of this year’s Super Bowl.

Each team of puppies or adult dogs wore colors representing each football team.

The dogs are from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control, which needs the public's help with adoptions.
