Can You Spell Bewusstseinslage? Local Spelling Bee Finalist Talks to NBC 5

Spelling Bee finalist Naysa Modi, 12, talks with NBC 5 after taking second in the annual competition. Modi was eliminated in the final round when she misspelled bewusstseinslage. She is in 7th grade at Reynolds Middle School in Frisco and was sponsored by the Dallas Sports Commission. The Bee was Modi’s fourth trip to the National Spelling Bee after tying for 50th in 2015, 46th in 2016 and 7th in 2017.
