Man Found Dead in North Fort Worth Fire

Fort Worth firefighters say an elderly man died in a fire in the 3900 block of Oscar Avenue early Saturday morning.

The fire happened just after 3 a.m. in the 3900 block of Oscar Avenue.

The Fort Worth Fire Department says fire crews arrived three minutes after receiving the call and found fire coming from the front of the home.

While fighting the fire, crews said they discovered the body of a man who is approximately 90-years-old. Neighbors told firefighters the man lived alone and rarely ventured outside.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Fort Worth Fire Department.
