Man Crashes World's Fastest Production Bike

Dallas paramedics said a man is lucky to be alive after he lost control of a motorcycle early Monday morning.

Paramedics said they responded to westbound Interstate 30 near Jim Miller Road at about 2:30 a.m. and found the injured man lying in a ditch.

Witnesses told police that the man was driving his motorcycle faster than 100 mph on the service road when he lost control, struck a curb and slid down the embankment, officials said.

The man was driving a Suzuki Hayabusa, police said, which has a top speed of 180 mph. Motorcycle Consumer News rated it the fastest production motorcycle in 2010.

Paramedics said they think the man will fully recover from his injuries.
