Heather Trimble, 24, died from injuries she suffered in the June 6 crash, which occurred at the intersection of Texas Highway 121 and County Road 528, just east of Westminster.

Trimble was eight months pregnant at the time of the crash, and doctors were able to deliver her baby when she was rushed to the hospital.

Trimble's four-year-old daughter was also hurt in the crash. She and the baby are now both doing fine.

Authorities said 51-year-olds Wayne and Julie Trimble, passengers in Trimble's Ford Focus, were pronounced dead at the scene.

"We want to know what happened," said daughter Ashley Trimble. "I literally feel like my heart is completely shattered."

A GoFundMe page has been established to assist the Trimble family.

Investigators say a Pontiac Grand Prix was headed north on Texas 121 when the driver slowed down for an unknown reason. A red Dodge pickup truck heading north then rear-ended the Pontiac.

Police in Collin County have confirmed four people are dead after a crash near the town of Westminster.

The collision sent the Pontiac spinning into the southbound lanes, where it was struck by Trimble's Ford Focus heading south. The Focus was then hit by a northbound Ford utility truck. A southbound blue Subaru then crashed into the Pontiac.

Texas 121 was shut down for several hours after the crash, but has since reopened.

DPS officials said 15-year-olds Abigail Kendall and Brianna Gesino, passengers in the Pontiac, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 16-year-old Zoe Wilson, and 16-year-old passenger Madison Kenney were transported to Medical City McKinney with serious injuries.

Kendall is the daughter of Collin County Detention Officer Kristi Kendall, and the sheriff's office said it would provide assistance to the family through donations to the Collin County Deputies Association Benevolence Fund.

A fund was set up for Gesino at the Anna branch of Texas Star Bank. Joe's Italian Bistro, where Kendall and Gesino both worked, said it would donate proceeds from last Saturday's sales to the families.

Three people in the Dodge pickup were transported to Medical City McKinney, but police said they are expected to be OK.
