Kid Investors: Students Study Stock Market

Fourth graders at Tarver Rendon Elementary have spent months keeping tabs on stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. The Mansfield ISD students are participating in a nationwide program called “The stock market game.” Kids are given $100,000 of fake money to invest and grow. Twelve teams from the elementary school are in the top 100. One of them is in the top two. And most of the teams they’re beating are from high schools.
