Hometown Hopefuls: Tamika Catchings Seeks Fourth Gold Medal in Rio

Duncanville’s Tamika Catchings heads to the Rio Olympics with her eye on a fourth gold medal. She helped lead Team USA to the top of the podium in Athens, Beijing and London. Catchings plays for the WNBA’s Indiana Fever and is one of the league’s biggest stars. But Catchings is known as much for her moves off the court as on it. She is passionate about helping young people through her Catch the Stars Foundation. Rio will be the last Olympics for Catchings, who is 37. She will also retire from the WNBA at the end of the season.
