Hinojosa: ‘We Will Not Shut the District Down'

As children return to school in the Dallas Independent School District after the winter break, Superintendent Michael Hinojosa says the district will not shut down over the surge of COVID-19 cases and because students don’t learn well when they aren’t in person, so a return to virtual learning is the last resort but available on a case-by-case basis.
