High Water Covers I-20 in Dallas, Causes Collisions

High water covering Interstate 20 near Westmoreland Road in Dallas causes multiple collisions Tuesday morning, authorities say.

High water on Interstate 20 caused some drivers to lose control and crash Tuesday morning, authorities said. [[310879591,C]]

The water covered several lanes of I-20 in both directions near Westmoreland Road.

Authorities said the water caused a wreck on eastbound I-20 just before 5 a.m. and at least three other crashes by 5:30 a.m.

The water began receding just before 6 a.m.
