Heat-related visits to hospital emergency rooms on the rise

Whether you’ve lived in North Texas for 20 years or 2 days the heat is no joke. Candace Sweat went digging through heat reports and found some numbers that are a little surprising. At Parkland Health’s emergency room; this year’s heat related visits are six times what they were last year. She talked with North Texans about how they’re handling the heat.
