Gandhi Standing Tall in Las Colinas

Just in time for Mahatma Gandhi’s 145th birthday, he is being honored with his very own memorial at Thomas Jefferson Park. The bronze statue stands seven feet tall and is perched on top of a six foot pedestal. Indian community leaders say Gandhi’s presence in the metroplex brings comfort to many who immigrated from his native country.
