Garland Sandwich Shop Petitions to Serve Alcohol Near Church

The owners of a Garland sandwich shop have petitioned to serve alcohol in an effort to transform business into a neighborhood bar. The shop sits across the street from a church and a charter school is only a few blocks away. In Garland, alcohol cannot be served within 300 feet of a church, public school or hospital.
