Part of the Katy Trail is on fire in Dallas.
Firefighters have contained a raging fire that engulfed a portion of the Katy Trail in Dallas Tuesday afternoon.[[367424881,C]]
Officials said the fire started at about 3:30 p.m. between Blackburn Street and Fitzhugh Avenue along the trail in Uptown. Several trees and brush were engulfed in flames.
No injuries have been reported. There is no word if the trail is closed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
