Arlington police said the driver of a pickup truck lost control on eastbound I-30 just east of Texas 360 at about 8 a.m. The truck lost control, struck a guardrail and flipped. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A tire from the truck detached and struck another passing vehicle, but the driver was not injured.
All lanes of I-30 were back open by about 1 p.m.
The name of the victim has not been released.
