Face Scans for Americans Flying Abroad Stir Privacy Issues

Before you board a flight, you may soon have your face scanned and run through a government database. The Trump administration says it intends to require biometric face scans on all Americans traveling internationally. It’s a plan not explicitly approved by Congress and something that some privacy advocates say is a step too far.
