Ex-Convicts Nearing End of City Beautification Project

The city of Grand Prairie will soon be completed with its unique art project. With the help of the National Endowment for the Arts and local artist Pam Summers, 10 former offenders created a 233-foot mosaic mural made of recycled glass. They hope to use their work as their resume when applying for jobs after the project ends on Sept. 30.
