Dallas City Hall is under scrutiny for digging and draining at the Great Trinity Forest. The construction of a city-owned championship golf course that will host the Byron Nelson Tournament in 2019 is the cause of the problem.

Management at 1500 Marilla St. is rightfully excited about the new championship golf course near the Great Trinity Forest. But the work recently went off the rails when contractors began draining an environmentally sensitive pond in an effort to control dust elsewhere.
