Dozens of DPD Squad Cars Roll Without Dash Cams

Up to 20 percent of 845 Dallas police cars don’t have dashboard cameras. The department said it’s ready to take bids on an entirely new system after experiencing multiple problems with its current camera system. The switch over could start as early as next month.
