DFW Students and Food Insecurity

One in every four North Texas children is considered food insecure and 89 percent of Dallas ISD students qualify for free or reduced meals at school. As summer starts, thousands of children in North Texas will go hungry because they lose access to meals at school. CitySquare’s Food on the Move program delivers free meals to programs at community partner sites. CitySquare Senior Director Kay Thomason is here to talk with us about how North Texans can help.
