One person has died and another is injured after a crash Monday afternoon involving a tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 80 in Kaufman County, officials say.[[320525112,L]]
The crash was reported at about 3:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 80 at Windmill Farms Boulevard between Forney and Terrell, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Investigators said the preliminary report indicates a pickup truck with two people inside collided with the tractor-trailer.
One person inside the pickup died and the other was injured. The injured occupant was transported by air ambulance to a North Texas hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
