Woman Shoots Relative, 20: Dallas Police

A Dallas woman faces charges in the shooting of a 20-year-old family member, police said Friday.

According to a police spokesman, officers were called to a shooting in the 4100 block of Tioga Street at about 8:20 a.m. Thursday.

Upon arrival, police observed a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Baylor Hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue.

Lisa Lashawn Caraway, 37, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, family violence, and causing a serious bodily injury, police said.

Investigators did now say how the gunshot victim is related to Caraway.

No further information was released.
