Man Surrenders to Police in Relation to Deadly Dallas Shooting

Police said 37-year-old Malcolm Bussey turned himself in Tuesday

A man accused of fatally shooting a man April 24 at a south Dallas apartment complex has turned himself, police say.

Dallas police said Malcolm Bussey, 37, turned himself in Tuesday in connection to the deadly shooting of Raymond Dupree, 28, at the Highland Park Apartments April 24.

Dupree was found around 12:40 p.m. April 24 inside his vehicle with several gunshot wounds in the 6200 block of Highland Hills Drive, police said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Bussey left the scene in a light-colored Mercury Grand Marquis.

Dallas police asked for the public's help locating Bussey on Saturday. Police said he waived his Miranda rights Tuesday and spoke to detectives.
