Dallas Mayor Proposes Salary Cuts for Top City Officials

Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson was the only vote in favor of his plan to cut the salaries of top city officials during the economic downturn. NBC 5’s Ken Kalthoff explains Johnson wanted City Manager T.C. Broadnax to take a 25% pay cut, with smaller reductions for other civilian workers who make more than $60,000 a year.
