Crews dismantled Big Tex after a record year at the State Fair of Texas.
Crews are set to take down Big Tex Wednesday morning, signifying the end of the State Fair of Texas.
Preparation is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. with plans to attach a crane to take down Big Tex by 9 a.m.
Crews were out in full force Monday morning clearing Fair Park of equipment and attractions for the 2016 State Fair of Texas.
