Two of the southbound lanes of Interstate 35E at Woodall Rodgers Freeway in Dallas were closed for a short time Thursday due to a crash.
The driver of a rock hauler apparently struck the dividing wall underneath the Woodall Rodgers overpass sometime after 3 p.m. The vehicle was cleared from the scene shortly before 4 p.m., but crews remained to clean debris off the highway.
While the crash was investigated, traffic backed up to state Highway 183. Just after 4 p.m., one of the lanes reopened to traffic leaving only one closed under the overpass.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. At this time no injuries have been reported.
