TxDOT Wages War on Copper Thieves

Copper thieves have stolen about 200,000 linear feet – more than 37 miles – of wiring from light poles in the Texas Department of Transportation’s Fort Worth District in recent years, knocking out power to highway lights in heavily-traveled areas.
