Timing of Clear the Shelters Campaign Helpful After Hurricane Ida

The annual NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 ‘Clear the Shelters’ campaign is now in its final week, which means adoption fees are waived. For the newly-expanded ‘Tri-City Animal Shelter and Adoption Center’ in Cedar Hill, the timing couldn’t be better. The shelter continues to care for animals evacuated from Louisiana because of Hurricane Ida. Keisha Burns reports.
