City of Dallas puts plan for vacant hospital on hold

On Wednesday, the Dallas City Council put the brakes on a controversial plan for homeless housing at a vacant hospital—homes, a library, and a school surrounding South Hampton Road. And the county commissioner is vehemently opposed. NBC 5’s Ken Kalthoff reports money saved there could complete another long-delayed housing plan.
