Car Crashes Into North Richland Hills Restaurant

Four people inside the Golden Corral were taken to the hospital Thanksgiving Day after a driver crashed into the building, but luckily with injuries that were not life threatening.

It was a close call in North Richland Hills Thursday, after a car crashed into a local restaurant.

It happened at about 2:30 p.m. at the Golden Corral restaurant on Grapevine Highway. 

Fire officials said a person parked in the front row unintentionallty hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and crashed into the restaurant.

Four people inside the Golden Corral were taken to the hospital, but luckily with injuries that were not life threatening.

They were hit with debris, not the car, according to firefighters. 

The driver of the car was not hurt.
