Brandon Carr Takes Time to Help Kids Succeed

Cowboys cornerback shows why he's a pro on and off the field

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr is not taking the day off after a big win Sunday. He took time to work with kids in Frisco as part of the NFL Play 60 program.

You can always count on Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr.

A day after a good defensive performance against one of the best receivers in the league, he took time out Monday to give back to the community during the NFL Play 60/Read 20 event in Frisco.

It's an event to encourage young people to exercise both their bodies and minds. Carr is an avid reader and supporter of the NFL Play 60 program. Through his Carr Cares Foundation, he provides books to schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as his hometown of Flint, Michigan.

Carr says he enjoys giving back to the kids.
