A driver was caught on camera driving straight through barricades on I-635. Several people called police to report the bizarre and scary situation, but the woman drove through three cities before anyone could stop her.
Drivers on a busy North Texas highway reported a bizarre and terrifying scene Tuesday as a woman blasted through barricades and didn't seem to notice.
Video from NBC 5 viewer Deon Council showed the woman speeding along Interstate 635 near Abrams Road, dragging car parts and driving on the rim of at least one wheel.
At one point the woman even had a "road closed" sign on the hood of her car.
Fellow drivers say she traveled all the way from Dallas, through Garland and into Mesquite before she stopped.
When Mesquite police arrived they could tell she was suffering from some sort of medical condition and rushed her to the hospital.
As far as we know the woman is going to be OK, and while police say she probably won't face any sort of ticket, she might have to pay for some of the damage along the road.
