A 4-month-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert has been found safe Wednesday morning, police said.

The Amber Alert was issued after River Oaks police believed the baby girl was in grave or immediate danger. She was located safe at about 5 a.m. and two women were taken into custody.

River Oaks police say that there was a family relationship between the baby, Mia Negrete, and two women who were suspected of abducting her, 19-year-old Summer Brook Davidson and 24-year-old Gemma Krystal Flores. The women allegedly forced entry into the baby's home in the 1200 block of Oxford Street to find the baby and took her by force, police said.

Previously, Child Protective Services had temporarily removed the child from the mother's custody and placed her with relatives due to safety concerns for the child, River Oaks police said in a statement.

The mother, Davidson, and several other female accomplices came to the home in River Oaks Tuesday night and took the child, police said. They fled with the child.

The child was found safe in Fort Worth and CPS was involved. River Oaks detectives were continuing their investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the River Oaks Police Department at 817-626-6770.
