5th Grader Wins Dallas ISD's 30th MLK Jr. Oratory Competition

More than 50 years after his death, eight student finalists from the Dallas ISD presented their views on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision for equality in America. The winner of this year’s competition is Tristan Whitfield, a 5th-grade student from Dunbar Learning Center. NBC 5 photojournalist Mike Grimm was there.
