3 Dead After 3-Vehicle Crash in Arlington: Police

Three people are dead after investigators say they think a sedan drifted into oncoming traffic on Collins Street in Arlington and was struck by two northbound vehicles.

Arlington police said a sedan and two other vehicles were involved in a crash in the 2700 block of North Collins Street just after 7 p.m.

Investigators said they think the sedan was heading south on Collins Street, crossed into oncoming traffic and was struck by two northbound vehicles.

Three people were trapped inside the sedan when officers arrived. Police said one of the passengers was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police said the other two people in the sedan were transported to hospitals with serious injuries. Both were later pronounced deceased.

No other injuries were reported.

All lanes of North Collins Street were closed between Brown and Green Oaks boulevards during the investigation.
