Man Arrested, Accused of Killing Two People at Dallas Apartment

Two people were found shot and killed at an apartment unit Friday morning in Dallas, police said.

Dallas Police said they have arrested a man after two people were found shot and killed at an apartment unit Friday morning.

Officers responded about 3 a.m. to the 7400 block of East Grand Road.

A male and female, identified as 31-year-old Fredi Mercado and 34-year-old Urania De Jesus, were found dead from gunshot wounds, police said.

Friday afternoon, officers closed streets and the SWAT team moved in to seal off a neighborhood near 12th and Polk.

Police arrested 40-year-old Leo Ted Pintor. He has been transfered to the Dallas County Jail and is facing capital murder charges.

No other information was available.
