US Surgeon General Answers Questions About Children Receiving Vaccine

Some parents are still hesitant about their children receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and the effects it may have on them. Pfizer is now approved for use in children ages 12 and up and trials are underway in children younger than 12. NBC 5’s Health Reporter Bianca Castro asked U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy about whether he has plans to vaccinate his own children. And the need for boosters as the state approaches the six month mark since the first Texans got their vaccination.
