Psychiatrists Look at How the COVID-19 Vaccine is Affecting Those on the Fence About It

Psychiatrists say some people who are on the fence about the COVID-19 shot are underestimating the risks the virus poses, while at the same time, overestimating the side effects of the vaccine. Dr. Aekta Malhotra of Apollo Psychiatry, PLLC says those waiting for the vaccine to get full FDA approval, should feel comfortable getting the vaccination at this point, now that thousands of people have received it and it’s been proven safe so far.
