Lawsuit Filed Against Cruise Line Over Coronavirus

A North Texas woman is suing the cruise line she says is responsible for the death of her husband, Michael. The couple’s 40th-anniversary trip ended in tragedy after he contracted COVID-19. According to a lawsuit, the cruise line failed to tell the Doretys just before they got on the Grand Princess at least two people infected with the virus got off, and more than 60 remaining on the ship had been exposed. She’s remembering Michael as a family man, dedicated to his grandchildren and a public servant who served as a firefighter for 39 years.
