Community Conversation: Healthcare Disparities Among People of Color

Healthcare disparities among people of color is an issue that continues to be studied. Most recently, the University of Missouri found that Black patients with advanced heart failure were more likely to get a life saving device– later in their disease progression — than white patients. We talked with Dr. Adrianne Frech, a medical sociologist about the study in today’s ‘Community Conversation.’
