Two DPD Motorcycle Officers Hurt in Crash

Two Dallas police officers have been hospitalized after a crash involving a third driver on Interstate 35E. Motorcycle Officers Wayne Nichols and Michael Keating were driving side-by-side on R.L. Thorton Freeway Tuesday when police say the driver of a Toyota Camry lane swerved to avoid a car braking suddenly in front of her. The Camry hit one of the motorcycle officers, sending his bike into the other officer.
