Trooper Saves Baby After Wild Car Crash

An Ohio State Trooper rescued a baby trapped in a car following a wild crash that was caught on camera. The dash cam video shows the trooper in pursuit of the driver who wouldn’t stop. The car hits a utility pole, flips over and catches fire. While using a fire extinguisher to put out the flames, the trooper heard the woman driver ask about her baby still inside the car. The trooper grabbed the car seat, cut the seat belt and freed the four-month-old child. The baby was treated and released to a family member. The driver was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle impaired, reckless operation and child endangering.
